About Me

About Me
Hi, I’m Aran. Born in 1972, married in 1998, divorced after 26 years (plot twist!), and proud dad of two grown sons. Life’s been a mix of triumphs, challenges and the occasional crash – sometimes literal.
One of my earliest memories? Going to bed wearing boots with a bar between them to fix my bowlegs. 70s technology at its finest. It made my mum cry; I just wanted to walk straight.
School was… an experience. A bit of bullying, a bit of being bullied, a teacher who thought crushing my confidence was part of the curriculum (looking at you, Mr. Willis). But I survived – he got another batch of 10-year-olds to terrorise.
Engineering became my thing, and I thrived in it. I’ve spent 35 years working in water treatment, travelled the world, and even became a shareholder in a successful business. But my passions extend beyond boardrooms – I’ve played sports at high levels, trained and taught in karate and swimming, and even raced a 10 second drag car (yes, really).
Life of course hasn’t all been podium finishes. A serious accident left me in a wheelchair, but thanks to an air ambulance and an incredible team of medics and some stubborn determination, I got back on my feet-now with a walk that has a bit of extra swagger.
The biggest turning point? My ex-wife’s mental health struggles and the loss of my dad. Trying to hold everything together-work, family, life-was brutal. I searched for answers, but practical, effective help was hard to find. That’s when I realised: I needed to rebuild, learn, and help others do the same.
Over the last decade, I’ve thrown myself in to understanding the mind-body connection, studying everything from nutrition and hormones to NLP, CBT, hypnosis and peak performance psychology. I’ve trained under world class mentors, including Tony Robbins, Dr. Jordan Peterson, David Key, and IFBB Pro John Jewett, developing my own approach to lasting transformation.
Now, my mission is simple: help people build unshakable resilience – mentally and physically – so they can handle whatever life throws at them (even when it feels like a brick wall).
Ready to level up? Let’s talk.
